The Applefest has activities for all ages and interests, from kiddie games to games of chance, cakewalks to carnival rides. Read on for just a few of the many rides and games waiting for you on the midway!

The Berry-Go-Round! A great family ride that spins only as fast as the riders want. The Berries spin, and then the ride spins, fairly slowly.
Who ARE these people carrying those big, white boxes?!
They're Cake-Walk winners carrying their prizes - homemade cakes! They were the lucky winners at the Cake Walk. Inside the kid's games tent at the south end of the Parish grounds, people pay just $1.00 to take a stroll on the music, in hopes of ending up on the lucky number that wins them their choice of cakes.
Come on down to the Cake Walk for your Musical Stroll and the chance to win your favorite flavor of delicious, homemade cake.
Never before seen at Applefest, this triple-spin ride is sure to be the highlight of your trip to the festival! The main deck spins in one direction, the "pods" spin opposite, and the ride carts spin freely. (Note: you might want to eat *after* this ride!)
Here's a video of it taken on Thursday, Sept. 15th - what are you waiting for?

The ride's called the "Scrambler" for a reason. Suggest lunch *after*, unless you're very young or have a cast-iron constitution!
Win big (and little) prizes while encouraging the youth of St. John at the Apple Tree. Just go on over to the Apple Tree (at the south end of the Parish grounds), and buy some Tootsie Rolls.
Then, open them up to see if you have a hidden lucky number for a corresponding prize. Not every Tootsie has a prize, but every one will bring a smile.

You've read about it, you've heard about - now be part of it. The world-renowned Doll Booth - where you can buy a lollipop and have a chance to win a hand-made and hand-decorated doll, tenderly assembled by local craftspeople.
Come visit the south end of the Parish grounds to see this amazing collection of dolls and take your chance at winning one of your own to take home.
Before there was "American Girl", there were American girls - and these hand-crafted dolls where what they played with. Capture some of our history, and win one of these beautiful dolls.
